Playground
My illustration style leans towards bold vector forms, vibrant colour palettes, and symmetrical compositions inspired by everyday objects, local culture, and graphic ornamentation. I'm drawn to building intricate scenes from simple shapes, turning familiar subjects into playful, pattern-driven compositions that reward a closer look.
I also began experimenting with p5.js as a way of extending my practice beyond traditional design tools. Through creative coding, I explored motion, typography, and generative systems, discovering new ways of thinking about movement and composition.
These explorations range from commissioned projects, including Type Brut for Nadine Ouellet's installation at the Coucou Bazar Exhibition organised by the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, to collaborative visuals for Sad Girls, a cross-cultural project presented by Wired Music Week, Le Bureau Export/CNM, and the French Embassy in Singapore, as well as self-initiated sketches developed during my Computation in Design module at LASALLE.
Whether I'm illustrating or writing code, this space has always been about following curiosity, experimenting freely, and seeing where an idea might lead.
